ANTI–RAGGING CELL
To root out ragging in all its forms from the institution, an anti-ragging cell has been established as per the guidelines of UGC. Ragging in any form is totally banned in the entire institution and strict action against those found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging is taken. All complaints pertaining to any kind of ragging by any student/group of students of the College inside or outside the College campus may be reported to ‘Anti-ragging Cell’ by writing a letter or sending a mail to svrfgcollege@gmail.com.
Objectives of Anti Ragging Cell
Anti-Ragging Committee will be the Supervisory and Advisory Committee in preserving a Culture of Ragging Free Environment in the college Campus. The Anti-Ragging Squad- office bearers will work under the Supervision of Anti Ragging Committee and to engage in the works of checking places like Hostels, Buses, Canteens, Classrooms and other places of student congregation. Anti-Ragging Committee will be involved in designing strategies and action plan for curbing the Menace of Ragging in the college by adopting array of activities.

ANTI-SEXUAL HARASSMENT
The Institution has constituted a Sexual Harassment (Prevention and Redressal) Committee to ensure that the students, teachers and non-teaching staff can work together in an environment free of gender violence, sexual harassment and discrimination on the basis of sex and gender. Students who feel they are victims of sexual harassment can complain in person to the Committee or send an email to svrfgcollege@gmail.com along with details of their name and register number. The written complaint could be given in person to the Coordinator of the Cell
The cell was constituted to meet the four basic objectives
- To develop the guidelines and norms for a policy against sexual harassment.
- To develop principles and procedures for combating sexual harassment.
- To work out details for the implementation of the policy.
- To prepare a detailed plan of action, both short and long term

Women Empowerment Cell
The Women Empowerment Cell is actively involved in the organizing various activities to make the women student s aware of the empowerment of women. Women of today are pragmatic, intelligent and thinking and many aspire to be self independent and economically stable and therefore there is every need to empower them. Empowerment is inspiring women to develop the courage the break free from the chains superstitions, patterns; social limitations that have traditionally kept women suppressed and unable to realized their true essence and power. The empowerment of women is vital and increases their ability to influence changes and contribute to a better society..
Objectives
- Make colleges safe for girls to pursue higher education in congenial learning environment.
- Encourage the ability to think expresses boldly and decide independently.
- Impart carrier guidance and counseling to facilitate economics security and financial independence.
- Focus on health care and women related issues.
- To create awareness among the women students about women protection laws and rights.
- To address the complaints and problems of women students and staff.
- To strengthen the students physically, mentally and extending more support to face the present day situation.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY CENTRE
The Institution has established an Equal Opportunity Centre, as per the guidelines of UGC, to oversee the effective implementation of policies and programs for disadvantaged groups, to provide guidance and counselling with respect to academic, financial, social and other matters and to enhance the diversity within the campus.
Function
- To ensure equity and equal opportunity to the community at large in the College and bring about social inclusion.
- To create a socially congenial atmosphere for academic interaction and for the growth of healthy interpersonal relationships among the students coming from various social backgrounds.

Students’ Grievance Cell
The function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student, and judge its merit. The Grievance cell is also empowered to look into matters of harassment. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person, or in consultation with the officer in-charge Students’ Grievance Cell. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the suggestion box of the Grievance Cell at Administrative Block. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to svrfgcollege@gmail.com.
Objectives
- To create a platform where students can point out their problems, regarding academic and nonacademic matters.
- To uphold the dignity of the College by promoting cordial Student-Student relationship, Student-teacher relationship, teacher-teacher relationship;
- To develop a responsive and accountable attitude among the stakeholders, thereby maintaining a harmonious atmosphere in the College campus;
- To get suggestions from the students for improvement.
- To ensure that the views of each grievant and respondent are respected and that any party to a grievance is neither discriminated against nor victimized;

STUDENT COUNSELLING CELL
The College Counselling cell aims at helping students reach their highest academic and personal potential. This may involve helping with personal, learning and career concerns and promoting success and wellness among them. The office provides a confidential atmosphere in which the students can explore any topic or situation and discuss any concerns thy may have. The students are helped to work through their problems, to develop self-awareness and to overcome problems. The college offers free counselling to students on individual or group basis. The counselling cell also provides testing facilities which includes psychological testing and psychiatry..
Objectives
- To identify the problem areas or difficulties of individuals, their potentialities and limitations
- To help students develop their potentialities through a greater self understanding to enable them to take full advantage of the environmental resources;
- To help mitigate suffering, reach appropriate solutions, take responsible decisions, and enable students to become self-actualized individuals.
- Counselling students for solving their problems and provide confidence to improve their quality of life.
